Past Recent Events; 4/27/17

We have kicked off quite an eventful spring here at Austin Permaculture Guild!

Here is a blog to catch you up on our recent past events!

Third Thursday Permie Potlucks

As the directors of the Guild, we felt that is was important and fun to hold a social space for our permaculture community here in Austin.  This space has served as a gathering where people who are curious about the permaculture movement in town can plug in. It also is a haven for people who have taken the permaculture design course (here is one coming up) to reconnect and share about their current projects.  We have had a lot of local, yummy food and conversations. We would love for you to make our next one on Thursday May 18th.

The HOPE Eco Fair 3/26

We organized a very fruitful Eco Fair at HOPE on Sunday March 26th.  It was a day dedicated to our eco-conscious community in Austin. We had a full house of active organizations around town providing demos, workshops, lectures, and ways to connect! We were even on the local news!

Special shout to our sponsor, Euphoria Fest!
And our participants:
Boom Space, Earth Native Wilderness School, TreeHouse, Farmgrass, Solavore Solar Ovens, Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine, TreeFolks, Treevolution, AustinResourceRecovery, and Whole Life Learning Center

Euphoria Fest 4/6-4/9

We had the honor of supporting the green team at this year’s Euphoria Fest. We announced permaculture at the opening music act and we hosted an intro to permaculture workshop! We so appreciate Euphoria’s effort in keeping their rented space, Carson Creek, green and clean.

Workshops at Treehouse

APG held two back-to-back workshops at green outdoor appliance store, Treehouse. It was the first of our many intro to permaculture courses as well as lessons on companion planting in your garden. We so appreciate sharing knowledge with our local community!

Upcoming events:

June 4th – June 18th- ‘INTENSIVE’ SUMMER 2017 PDC
